One of the first things that come to mind when considering Korean food is the spiciness associated with it. And Yes it's true!! Many Korean dishes are HOT! Chili peppers are used quite abundantly in Korean food but remember that you can always control the level of the chilli peppers used when cooking at home. In addition, many popular Korean dishes like Bulgogi or Kalbi do not use any chili peppers so don't be bashful and give it a try.

Trying to cook Korean food at home can seem a daunting task at first. One of the first challenges you may deal with has to do with the availability of the ingredients. Most if not all ingredients listed in our recipe section can be found in Korean or other Asian supermarkets, however more and more American markets are starting to carry these items as well. For the most part, we have attempted to explain all the ingredients in our recipe section but if you should have any questions on where you may be able to find them, drop us an e-mail and we will try our best to find a place for you to buy them from.

As with any food, the recipes for Korean food differs depending on who you ask. Feel free to experiment with our recipes and let us know if you've found a variation you'd like to share with us !
